Product-use rules

Acceptable use of PDFandDOC

These rules describe acceptable use of the current PDFandDOC tools. They are product-use guidance only and do not create a customer account, enforcement service, monitoring system or separate legal agreement.

Acceptable use

  • Use documents only when you have the authority or permission needed to process them.
  • Do not use PDFandDOC tools for unlawful purposes or to violate another person's or organization's rights.
  • Do not use the tools to create deceptive or fraudulent document changes, impersonate another person, or misrepresent a document's source or meaning.
  • Do not present output from Visual Sign as a certificate-backed digital signature or e-sign workflow; the current tool adds flattened visual signature content only.
  • Do not attempt to bypass password protection, access controls, validation checks, file/page/resource limits or other fail-closed boundaries.
  • Do not attempt to exploit, disrupt or interfere with PDFandDOC pages, browser tool execution or supporting site functionality.

Current boundaries

  • PDFandDOC does not claim to scan document contents, detect illegal material, review user files, investigate conduct, moderate documents or operate a server-side abuse-enforcement pipeline.
  • This page does not define account suspension, bans, takedown procedures, complaint handling, law-enforcement cooperation, abuse-reporting contacts, support SLAs or other enforcement processes.
  • PDFandDOC has no current public account, billing, public developer API, legacy-DOC processing, password/decryption workflow or live advertising. Word to Image and Word to PDF accept DOCX only through Secure Cloud; OCR PDF also uses Secure Cloud; PDF to Word processes existing native PDF text in your browser.
  • This page does not define governing law, jurisdiction, warranties, liability, indemnity, arbitration, termination terms or contractual acceptance language.
  • This page describes product-use rules and does not create additional support, availability or service commitments.
