About this workflow

Rotate PDF changes the page orientation in a generated copy of one PDF using the supported clockwise rotation setting. It is intended for pages that were scanned or exported sideways or upside down.

Rotation runs in the browser and does not rasterize the document merely to turn a page. The original file remains unchanged.

What to check before processing

Use the preview to decide which supported rotation angle produces the intended reading orientation. Rotation is different from cropping: it turns page content and dimensions according to the PDF operation rather than trimming the page.

If only selected pages need different rotations or the page order also needs changes, use Organize PDF, where rotation is part of a page-level plan.

What to expect from the result

The result is a new PDF with the configured rotation applied. The result preview lets you check orientation before downloading the rotated copy.

Some PDF viewers can display rotation metadata in different ways, so review the generated result in the browser and in the viewer used by your workflow when orientation is important.
