About this workflow
Delete PDF pages creates a new copy of a PDF without the page numbers or ranges you mark for removal. At least one page must remain, so the workflow cannot produce an empty PDF.
The operation is browser-local and works from page positions in the selected PDF. It does not alter the source file on disk and does not send the document to Secure Cloud.
What to check before processing
Compare the source page preview and count with the ranges you intend to remove. Printed page numbers in a document can differ from PDF page positions because of covers, front matter or inserted sheets.
If you find yourself deleting most of the document, Extract PDF pages may be easier because you can describe the pages to keep instead.
What to expect from the result
The output is one PDF containing every source page except the valid deleted selections. The result state reports the generated file and lets you review the remaining document before download.
Deletion changes page membership, not the visible content of pages that remain. Review navigation and any document-specific features that may refer to page positions after removal.
Common uses
- Remove blank scanner pages from an otherwise useful PDF.
- Delete a cover sheet before sharing the remainder.
- Remove obsolete pages while preserving the rest of a document.
Tips for a better result
- Double-check ranges that contain hyphens so the intended endpoints are correct.
- Prefer Extract PDF pages when only a small subset should remain.
- Keep the original file until the new page sequence has been verified.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I delete every page?
- No. The tool requires at least one valid page to remain in the generated PDF.
- Are deleted pages removed from my original file?
- No. The tool creates a new PDF and leaves the original selected file unchanged.
